He was born on 22nd June, 1963 in Luby. Playing different musical instruments and their building became his life-love and when his father, Otakar Odlas, founded the company Atelier Saldo, he started to be seriously interested in constructing the bows. The first basis he got from master bow-maker Rudolf Neudoerfler, later on he continued by famous Japanese bow-maker Sasan Mitsuaki. For hand-making the bows he only uses pernambuco wood and his model is the Sartory one. Today, he is building bows after his own model. His bows are used by talented students, but as well as by front artists and soloists in Bohemia and abroad. Here it is for example the violin virtuoso Vaclav Hudecek or the members of Wilhan Quartet.
